Applications
Window sills
A building element on the inner and outer edges under a window frame that stops rain running off the window from seeping into the wall and carries it away from the wall.
Overview
Window sills
Window sills are fitted at windows and similar openings to keep water from seeping into the wall and to make it drip 3.5–4 cm clear of the wall surface.
Window sills are made of water-impermeable materials, sloped outward and downward to throw the water out, and with a drip groove so the water does not reach the wall from underneath.
Terastone is the best alternative to marble for window sills. It is cut from slabs to the width and length of the window, the front edge is chamfered and polished.
