History
From paving to terrazzo

2000
Foundation
The company was founded in Edremit, Van, as Ölmez Beton Yapı Elemanları Limited Şirketi and began with the production of concrete paving stones. After its success with paving, it moved on to other precast concrete products such as kerbs, water channels and concrete pipes.

2004
New factory in Van OSB
To suit its growing capacity the company moved to a larger site: a new factory in the Van Organized Industrial Zone on 35,000 m², of which 5,500 m² is enclosed. A mosaic screening and washing plant made it an integrated facility and all machinery was renewed. Single-layer artificial marble (terrazzo) was added as a separate production line alongside concrete products, with high-capacity terrazzo machinery brought in from Italy.

2012–2013
Automatic terrazzo line
Capacity in terrazzo and growing sales called for a new investment: in 2012 a second facility was built, again in Van OSB, on 20,000 m² with 2,500 m² enclosed. With fully automatic mixing, pressing, steam curing, transport on rails and polishing with a total of 16 heads, it started making 40×40×1.9 and 60×60×2.5 cm terrazzo in mid-2013. Annual output reaches 1 million m² of terrazzo.

Terastone in Ankara Başkent OSB
At the plant in Ankara Başkent Organized Industrial Zone, Terastone engineered stone slabs are made with Breton vacuum-vibration technology. Ankara is also our head office.
Our aim
Value for the region, from the region's resources
Our general aim is to supply quality materials to construction in Van and its surroundings, and especially to the construction market of neighbouring countries, and so contribute to raising overall construction quality.
We aim to prove that a business equipped with the most modern machinery can operate using the region's raw materials, to reduce the number of people leaving for other provinces to find work, and to improve the socio-economic situation of our employees.
The products we make have earned the right to hold a TSE certificate.
